Why this book matters

Description

Unlike anything else out there, this book is designed to empower small people with growing minds with big, life-saving knowledge and confidence to act in an emergency.

Created by Critical Care Paramedic Amy (author of What Paramedics Do) and Critical Care Paediatric Nurse Sarah (Director of PAEDS education)—both mums and passionate educators—this resource is more than a book. It’s a movement toward raising a generation of helpers, protectors, and responders.

Perfect for every home, classroom, or early learning centre, it gives children the tools to recognise danger, stay calm, and take action when it matters most.

Pair it with our kid-friendly practice first aid kit, and your children can turn knowledge into real-world skills—building health literacy, confidence, and the courage to care.
