Frequently asked questions

Who teaches the course?

All courses are taught by paediatric nurse specialists with decades of experience in paediatric trauma, injury and illness. We are all mothers and still practice as clinicians.

Can I bring my baby?

We welcome babies who are still feeding (breast or bottle) to all our public courses. Children of any age are welcome at private courses.

Do I get a certificate?

This is a non-accredited course — there is no nationally recognised baby & child first aid course in Australia, so we fully customise ours based on our clinical experience. You'll receive a certificate of attendance, and we can add CPD hours if you're a practicing healthcare professional. We do facilitate nationally recognised courses for workplaces — get in touch if that's you.

What do I get to take home?

Some special (and genuinely handy) thank-you gifts, plus our e-first aid book with all the essential lifesaving tips from the course.

What should I bring?

Yourself, comfy attire, water and snacks to stay fuelled. There's a 15-minute break halfway to refuel.

“Excellent, very practical knowledge on everything you experience when dealing with children and infants — from a great background of experience both as a parent and from an experienced critical care perspective.”
